America Recycles Day is almost here and we can’t contain our excitement! How do you plan on doing your part on November 15th? It’s okay if you’re a bit unfamiliar with this cool event, we are and we’ve got all the information you’ll need-just for Woodside residents!

Since 1997, Americans have joined together to honor America Recycles Day. This one day aims to encourage and motivate Americans to learn about recycling as well as to incorporate recycling into their daily habits.

One of the quickest ways to get involved is to take the pledge. By signing your name on the pledge, you are agreeing to learn about recycling in Lorton as well as to reduce daily personal waste.

If you’re looking for something a bit more hands-on, think about hosting an event. Some of the events that have been planned thus far include, paper shredding events, electronic waste events and various contests.
